Position Summary:

You’ll provide advanced, patient-centred clinical care to individuals across Australia through secure telehealth consultations. As part of DocTel’s collaborative clinical team, you’ll assess, diagnose, prescribe, and manage treatment plans within your approved scope of practice. This role offers independence, flexibility, and the opportunity to contribute to accessible healthcare delivery while maintaining the highest standards of professional governance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct telehealth consultations (video) for acute and chronic conditions.
• Perform advanced assessments, diagnoses, and prescribe within NP authority.
• Develop and manage treatment plans, referrals, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation for all patient encounters.
• Collaborate with GPs, allied health professionals, and specialists where appropriate.
• Uphold AHPRA standards and participate in DocTel’s clinical quality framework.

Requirements:

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Nurse Practitioner (Endorsed).

• Demonstrated experience in primary care, urgent care, or telehealth.

• Strong clinical reasoning, diagnostic, and prescribing skills.

• Excellent communication, empathy, and digital-health literacy.

• Independent, self-motivated, and committed to patient-centred care.
